MACARONI PAYASAM / KHEER

Ingredients:

200 g Bambino Macaroni
1 tbsp ghee
2 nos cardamom
few threads saffron
1 lt milk
150 g sugar
Cashewnuts, almonds, raisins as desired.
Method :

Crush and powder cardamom and saffron. Fry dry fruits in little ghee. Mix milk and add Macaroni and reduce the flame. Macaroni will get cooked in 7 minutes. Add fried nuts, sugar, raisins, powdered cardamom and saffron. Simmer for 5 minutes on a low flame till milk becomes thick. Remove from flame. Cool and refrigerate or bring to room temperature and serve.
