250 g Bambino Conchiglie 2 1/2 litres milk 250 g rice powder 100 g raisins 20 g pistachios (flaked) 20 g almonds (flaked) 250 g seasonal fruits (banana, orange, apple, grapes according to taste) 300 g sugar 1/2 tsp saffron 5 g cardamom powder | |

Method :
Bring to boil 2 1/2 lt of water and add a few drops of cooking oil. Gradually immerse 250 g Bambino Conchiglie into the boiling water and continue to cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain the cooked Pasta, rinse in fresh cold water and keep it aside. Soak the rice powder either in cold water or milk. Take a litre of milk in a pan and when it starts boiling, add boiled Bambino Conchiglie and soaked rice powder. Stir the mixture, taking care that no lumps are formed. Cook it to thin custard consistency, and add dry fruits, cardamom powder, saffron and sugar. Cool it by stirring continuously. Slice the seasonal fruits into cubes and pour the phirne over it. Garnish with almonds and pistachios and serve chilled. | |
